Typing into the virtual machine adds duplicate letters

Hello, typing into the virtual machine adds duplicate letters. I have attached a video of me typing out "the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog".

This bug only appears to affect NewTerm for me. It's much better to SSH into the device as you can copy and paste as well as have no duplicate letters.
