Describe the bug

When i open an app from the app drawer then close it the homescreen doesn't appear. I have to open an app from the homescreen first so that when i close an app the homescreen appears
(this issue only occurs when lawnchair is newly started, the memory is clearled, or when the phone is left turned off for long)

Why is it a big deal?

When the memory clears up automatically, then i open an app from the app drawer and close the app, the issue occurs.
Imagine opening and closing an app in the homescreen so you can make sure when you close an app (opened from the app drawer) the homescreenscreen appears

Steps to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Restart lawnchair, leave lawnchair not running for a long time or use an app for a long time
  2. Open an app from app drawer (any app except apps in the homescreen)
  3. Close the app
  4. Homescreen doesn't appear

Expected behavior

Closing animation should work all the time

This is occurring for me as well. Currently on latest nightly.

I have a screen record but it's too large to upload for my GitHub account.
