[BUG] Home screen scrolling sometimes not working

Describe the bug

You cannot scroll between home screen pages if you touch an app or widget, it must be done on empty space on the home screen.

This is a clone of #5279

Steps to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to home screen
2. Swipe between home screen pages by swiping over an app or widget
3. You can't scroll between pages if you swipe over something that's on the home screen and sometimes triggers opening the app/widget

Expected behavior

You should be able to swipe between home screens regardless of there being a widget or app in your swipe path

Same here. I think the swipe left / right gesture do app icons introduced this issue.

Yes they are the issue, action should be disabled when not configured or supported by an app.

I've got this bug aswell which in my case was introduced +- 1 week ago. Made it unusable on pixel 9 pro GrapheneOS and reverted back to a previous version for the time being.

I'm not sure anymore, but i still have the apk in my download folder which introduced this bug. Lawnchair.Debug.15-dev.Nightly-CI_2041-93827c6.apk, I hope the version can be derived out of the apk name.

Edit: in case u was asking to which version i reverted, i've reverted to the version prior i had in my download folder. Apk name: Lawnchair.Debug.15-dev.Nightly-CI_2026-a0b5a17

I've downloaded the 'problematic' version on 18 feb, i reverted to the version i've got on 15 feb.

I'm not sure if it's the same bug in my case. However, the gesture to change the home screen does not work for me in all positions. In places where I have placed a widget, the gesture does not work.

I have the Google Calendar widget on my second home screen page and the Google Photos widget directly below it. To get back to the first home screen page, I have to perform the swipe gesture in the gaps between the widgets.

Perhaps one of you can test this again and possibly confirm it here.

Well it is exactly what I have encountered, except with widgets instead of app icons. So yeah it's the same bug.

Supposedly this affects people on GrapheneOS or any other phone with a very recent android version. I hope one of the devs has a pixel to reproduce this bug as it is unusable.

Nevertheless, if someone which experienced this bug, after updating could report the issue is gone, would u please be so kind to mention so in this thread? I had quite the hassle returning to an older version and restoring backup which only restored partially.
