Feature description

Metrolist's built-in functionality to integrate with Last.fm usually includes sending the name of the channel rather than extracting the real artist from the song title itself. The standard YouTube/YouTube Music video format is in the format of Artist Name - Song Title (or variations).

Thus, the scrobble often comes out with: Artist = channel name (for example "Artist - Topic", "uploading channel", "VEVO", etc.)

This leads to polluted listening statistics on Last.fm.

Why do you want this feature?

Scrobbling makes sense only if artist and track information is accurate. If Metrolist provides information about channel names (e.g., "Artist - Topic," arbitrary uploading channels, VEVO), it pollutes my Last.fm database with inaccurate records. My listening history becomes inaccurate, my stats and recommendations do not work properly.

Metrolist is the most efficient YouTube Music client I've tried so far, but this problem compels me to use Pano Scrobbler. The reliability of native Last.fm integration should be sufficiently high to make an external scrobbler unnecessary.
