QuickAccent has been great so far, but it's been a serious hassle trying to hunt for exact characters that I need. It would be quite a boon if documentation could be added that lists which keys should be used for which characters. For instance though the IPA keyset is enabled, I am still unable to find the vowel length/gemination marker ː (not the same as the colon). It would also be useful to know which keys don't act as shortcuts for any special characters at all (for instance how the semicolon key isn't used by QuickAccent).
