After updating to MS Edge 124.0.2478.51 (Official build) (64-bit), files downloaded from an HTTP source failed with error "{filename} can't be downloaded securely". This issue did not present on previous version 123.0.2420.81 (Official build) (64-bit). This has been reproduced on several machines; no issue on v123, issue exist after updating to v124.
Is this newly intended functionality? If so, where is this change documented? If not, please fix.
