Lightweight L2Hostility

Are there any plans for a lightweight L2Hostility version that doesn't add a lot of items and mechanics but instead only focuses on the levelling mechanic that mobs experience? No new armor or tools or curios - just the levelling?
I know a lot of modpack creators other than me would also love something like this.

the major issues with that are

• no special drops from mobs with higher levels? I hate enchant book drops and equipment drops
• bland trait selections. Currently a lot of traits are highly related to L2C stuff
• vanilla problems: armor breaks with one hit at high damage. L2C has an enchantment to stop that. What would be the alternative? If I add things, how should it be crafted?
• If traits are going to stay, most of them would be effect traits. There gotta be a way to stop them. How?
• Should mobs still get regen? If so, how should player stop that? I have cursed from L2C but regen without counter will be a problem on certain mobs.

It is possible to make one without traits and items and enchantments, just leveling. But it will take some time to do. Alternatively, you can just remove all recipes and hide all items from JEI. My mods have minimal lag and if you have questions you can always ask in my discord.

Heyo! Some really good points!

• I hate those too. More often than not, the player would just throw them away. Especially because of the inventory clutter. Terrible. I thought a pack maker could designate loot drops based on level via a datapack? That'd definitely be something modpack developers would be salivating over if it's not already possible.
• While the traits are cool, for my use case, I wouldn't really use them much since I'd like to make multiple playstyles completely independently viable which a lot of the traits wouldn't allow for (Reflect, Adaptive, Legendary Traits) I think my favorite traits are Growth and Split, fantastic designs on those two. Another major factor is that I want to make the enemies a little more predictable too which would be hard with random trait selections.
• That's probably the biggest concern I have but even without L2H it'd be present since modpacks with longer progression (and also boss monsters like with cataclysm) are already facing that problem. Not sure how I will solve that problem yet. I might cap durability loss or something.
• Very valid concern. I imagine it would be hard if L2H is the only mod installed. Perhaps the ones that would be too difficult to take care of could be disabled by default but that's probably not the best solution

I mainly made this post because I've seen some other peeps a little annoyed at the plentiful (very good) mechanics that simply didn't fit into their modpack's design philosophy.
It's not much work simply disabling everything (thank you so much for making it so easy!) but I thought if it isn't too much work a lot of peeps would appreciate so I'd throw out the suggestion.
