Saving with FF 3.6 and 4.0

Saving files including images with FF 3.6 is causing Browser hangups
Saving with FF4 is not possible

up to now I wasn't able to reproduce this bug, even with large and many images.
Did you embed the pictures by dragging them from your filesystem or by using the image-option from the menu?
