would be nice if the islands were something we could place down ourselves when activating hide islands, this would pretty much only be a benefit for shattered seas users i'd think.

Yeah it would be a nice addition, though I'm not currently sure what would be a good approach on getting that to work. ArcGIS tends to just initialize with a fixed map, then renders that without a way to really change anything except overlays.

Might be easiest to draw regular lines in the shape and size of a selected island, or to somehow figure out the data structure it's using internally and try and offset the existing island coordinates on the fly. It would take some doing to be sure.
