map icon missing issue #14
Comments
the Error means that the Resource Pack doesnt contain the textures of the map icons, so there is nothing to convert. To the second issue. Slicer only outputs changed files, so you would need to make the upgraded pack by your self (updating pack.mcmeta and copying the output to correct folders). |
Do I understand correctly that the pack doesnt change the map icons? if not, why are you trying to run the 1.20.5 version of slicer? |
Look the texture pack doesnt work it doesnt change the sky and gui when it is selected and my friend said i have to run it through the slicer to get it worked. the version where it works is 1.19 or something and i just want to play with it in 1.20.4 or 5 whatever |
To fix the GUI you need to run slicer for 1.20.2. that version upgrades GUI textures. 1.20.5 version only updates map decoration ones you dont need. For the sky problem. Minecraft resource packs cant change sky textures, only when using Optifine mod or special mod for Fabric to be able to use optifine custom sky box features. |
Ok thx for gui help and the sky is with optifine |
And i would recommend for you to change the "pack_format" to 18 and "min_inclusive" to 18 for the pack to work from version 1.20.2 to the newest. |
I assume everything is now fine over here? |
I want to convert to 1.20.5 but the pack that i try to convert doesnt have a map folder with icons. And the slicer gets an error and says
I already tried with 1.20.4 map icons and it works but when its done in my folder there is just assets and map with the 1.20.4 icons and no texturepack.
What should i do?
