March 2, 2015Held first community meet up on February 27th with a great turn out. This meet was to bring together potential members and discuss the next steps for Hive Manchester Damien and Steven sent me a quick note that would like a call with me this week to discuss creating a membership process Since Mozfest, the Hive Manchester team has met with their local city council Support Requested and Provided Provided them Hive Toronto membership document package (Kathryn has been great with allowing me to pass it around) and Hive Chicago membership documents to give them a better understanding of how the process can be developed Team has asked to do a monthly follow up meeting |
Call with Hive Manchester on Thursday 9 AM ET. Invited them to speak to April 16, 2015 Hive Global Community call to discuss their current events. Community Meeting: May 20, I will be skyping in |

I connected Steven with Sue Smith today (of Hack Aye in Scotland). She's working on a project that combines art, activism and digital skills, where young adults (ages 18-25) will learn about the open web and leadership. Chris suggested the connection, given proximity and interest areas... |
