session proposal portal for the 2026 July Meeting. We’re looking especially for proposals that help participants connect across disciplines and bridge divides to discover mutual interests and opportunities for collaboration. The session proposal form will close on May 15.

We submitted 3 sessions today for ESIP July meeting in Austin; our abstract drafts. ESIP's submission responses.

Hello! All our ESIP sessions were accepted! Woo!
We'll do the bulk of preparation in July (when we know about travel ) and following the Champions Cohort. We will do some planning/shaping before then async; we can use the Abstracts doc if that's helpful for emerging ideas.

ESIP planning: we'll break these into further issues but to share these thoughts out loud here. We'll plan mostly asynchronously/in small groups in June and then more focused in July:

• Monday Hackday: ways for folks to share ideas and interact ahead of time, reshare the opportunity in ESIP Slack as its developed (it's been shared in the ESIP May 25 Newsletter)
• Hex stickers - order these in time to print and ship
• 3 sessions above!
