The splitting is done via a call to\nSplitTable() which\nmarks image DATA sections with the EFI_MEMORY_XP attribute and CODE\nsections with the EFI_MEMORY_RO attribute when\nsplitting. After this process, there may still be EfiRuntimeServicesCode\nregions which did not have their attributes set because they are not\npart of loaded images.\n\nThis patch updates the MAT EnforceMemoryMapAttribute logic to set the\naccess attributes of runtime memory regions which are not part of loaded\nimages (have not had their access attributes set). The attributes of the\ncode regions will be read-only and no-execute because the UEFI spec\ndictates that runtime code regions should only contain loaded EFI\nmodules.\n\nBZ: https://bugzilla.tianocore.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4832\n\nRefs:\n1.\nhttps://edk2.groups.io/g/devel/topic/patch_v1_mdemodulepkg/105570114?p=,,,20,0,0,0::recentpostdate/sticky,,,20,2,0,105570114\n2.\nhttps://edk2.groups.io/g/devel/topic/mdemodulepkg_fix_mat/105477564?p=,,,20,0,0,0::recentpostdate/sticky,,,20,2,0,105477564\n\nSigned-off-by: Oliver Smith-Denny ","shortMessageHtmlLink":"MdeModulePkg: MAT Set RO/XP on Code/Data Sections Outside Image Memory"}},{"before":"ccda91c28628aa70bca614f1f7b71ad7b5ca61e0","after":"90d0ec17e7074905de347ccf2accdd6b8e8ee968","ref":"refs/heads/master","pushedAt":"2024-08-28T09:06:50.000Z","pushType":"push","commitsCount":9,"pusher":{"login":"jgarver","name":"Jake Garver","path":"/jgarver","primaryAvatarUrl":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/23349940?s=80&v=4"},"commit":{"message":"MdePkg/BaseFdtLib: Add FdtNodeOffsetByCompatible()\n\nThis adds FdtNodeOffsetByCompatible() to support finding the offset of\nthe first node with a given 'compatible' value after an offset.\n\nSigned-off-by: Nhi Pham ","shortMessageHtmlLink":"MdePkg/BaseFdtLib: Add FdtNodeOffsetByCompatible()"}},{"before":"1cc0fae8d9e2681fc6a33e5602ce8368809f9465","after":"ccda91c28628aa70bca614f1f7b71ad7b5ca61e0","ref":"refs/heads/master","pushedAt":"2024-08-27T09:06:50.000Z","pushType":"push","commitsCount":5,"pusher":{"login":"jgarver","name":"Jake Garver","path":"/jgarver","primaryAvatarUrl":"https://avatars.githubusercontent.com/u/23349940?s=80&v=4"},"commit":{"message":"MdePkg: Define BrainpoolP512r1\n\nREF: https://bugzilla.tianocore.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4837\n\nAdd BrainpoolP512R1 definition to TPM20.h\n\nSigned-off-by: Michael G.A.
