What is the context of the feature/improvement?

It would be cool to see remix with a bidirectional-spectral path tracing renderer.

This could allow for some very cool screenshots.

Please describe the feature/improvement?

What would be your solution? (optional)

Probably not going to happen, Remix is architected as a backwards path tracer and changing or adding something that fundamentally different would entail rewriting most of the renderer really (same goes for spectral rendering, it's just not compatible with pretty much any of the existing design). If you want that sort of thing you're better off exporting the scene as a USD or something and trying to hook up the material info so that you can render it in an actual high quality offline renderer like Blender (something people have done in the past).
