It seems like the BenchmarkTransactionSpeed benchmarks yield different results on Windows. While the single threaded performance is between 2-3x better, the multithreaded performance actually decreases with an increasing number of threads.
So far this behavior was observed and tested on 1 machine so it could be specific to that pc.
