Add RSS feeds for geographical locations

The data is already segmented into countries. It may be cool to have country or state specific RSS feeds so if someone adds a location it pops up on the feed.

This might be easier than expected.

Each folder just needs an _index.md that looks like this one that could sit in ./content/daytrip

title: "All Nerdy Day Trips"
description: "All venues worldwide."
---

Then in ./content/daytrip/eu an _index.md is needed that looks a bit like this:

title: "Nerdy Day Trips in Europe"
description: "Venues in Europe."
---

And so on and so on...

You'll end up with a path like /daytrips/eu/index.xml which is the RSS feed you need.

I came here to suggest the exact same feature. Specifically, I would love to have a feed for places added to my state in the US. While country-level feeds are great, I'd love to get more granular.

Perhaps using a term like "region" or "area" would work since different countries may use state, province, etc.

Hugo supports output types. Similar to what Alan said, an RSS layout file can be placed to generate these. This is simple because the folder structure supports this already, but not down to state.

A faster, more flexible solution would be to use custom taxonomy for locations. This would allow the following:

• feeds per region
• a flat folder structure
• a URL structure that can be designated in the config, that automatically builds itself based on region/country/etc.
