The extension doesn't seem to work on Firefox as of 2026-01-15

Good day!

The extension look exactly like what I desire for my github workflow. Pitifully it doesn't seem to work. Could you check this please?

Describe the bug
I have installed the extension and navigated to a test repo (this one). The Commits tab doesn't appear even after hard reload. The extension says it has been successfully initialized.

Looks like github had some code changes. Will work on it once i get some time. BTW, anyone seeing this, feel free to raise a cr and i will be happy to review.

The issue is not solved for me. I now see the "Commits" tab flash on page reload. But then it disappears. I have tried to locate the tab with dev tools, but the expected li is not in the ul (((

This is interesting. It is working for me in the current merged (and released) version of the extension. And as far as I could see, @ivangretsky and @drinkcocoa are both facing the same issue of commits tab flashing and disappearing.

And when I try to use the fix done by @drinkcocoa , it breaks for me.

It looks like Github is rolling out these changes in stages, by different customer sections.

It is also not working for me. as @ivangretsky mentioned, it flashes the 'Commit' tab - it appears and immediately disappears. I'm using the Chromium browser.

Same here, plugin not working anymore in chrome. Commit tab doesnt show up.

I can confirm too - I can see commit tab shows itself for a sub second and dissapears immediatelly. Chrome.
