About

The :term:`INTERconnected Science ECosysTem (INTERSECT)<INTERSECT>` open federated hardware/software architecture is currently being developed at :term:`Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL)<ORNL>` as part of a :term:`Laboratory Directed Research and Development (LDRD)<LDRD>` Initiative. The current team involves :term:`ORNL` scientists and engineers, but the project is open for external contributions.
