Licensing #84

Ditto! Especially considering the recent pricing/license changes with regards to Docker Desktop: https://www.docker.com/pricing/faq?utm_campaign=2021-08-31-business-tier-launch&utm_medium=email&utm_source=mailgun&utm_content=faq I'm headed down a path of attempting to use Windows Containers to start containerizing part of our build processes by way of GitHub Actions, but unfortunately those changes are going to preclude my ability to do that unless there's a reasonable alternative and I think there's just a little "fuzzy" about what MS has included in their documentation (almost feels like another IdentityServer4 is just around the corner). |
You might want to take a look at Stevedore project as a way to install modern Docker engine for Windows containers on both Windows Server/Client. |
What is the licensing for using DockerMsftProvider? Is this Docker CE? Is this Mirantis Container Runtime? We are evaluating this provider and we want to know that if we only run docker from this module, are there other licenses or restrictions that we should be aware of for running production workloads?
