Fetching GMail Inbox feed results in error #2

If you try to fetch the GMail Inbox ATOM Feed (https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/feed/atom) you get the error
Unexpected token: )
as a Javascript alert.
In general it would be helpful if errors woun't be displayed with alerts as it stops all JS execution until confirming the alert. Better display the error inside the control.
