nuc970/nuc972 how to create NAND image?

NAND image provides step:

if modify 'Bootloaders ---> Board defconfig' to 'nuc970_nand' , make faile , because dont have nuc970_nand board defconfig

if modify 'Bootloaders ---> Board defconfig' to 'nuc970' , make ok but /output/970image "pack Image Format Error" when burn in nuWriter

This buildroot does not pack the NUC970 kernel image. The image packing function is only available when using NuWriter for flashing.

And Should I use OpenNuvoton/NUC970_Buildroot or OpenNuvoton/buildroot_2024

defconfig is for "board", not "boot device"

OpenNuvoton/NUC970_Buildroot use linux-3.10 kernel, while buildroot-2024 use linux-5.10.
Do you read any use manual of NUC970? At lease, NuWriter user manual.
Where di you get the nuc970 board, and the name of the nuc970 board?

the board is my product board use nuc972 and nand, It will be more friendly for beginner similar me If it has a defconfig file.

I know how to flash image one by one, but I dont konw what is the offset address of every image what build from buildroot.
so create a packed image for Mass Production is better way that it is easy for Nuvoton, becuase ma35d1_nand board defconfig file will create pack-core-image-buildroot-#####.bin for nuwriter tool.

OpenNuvoton/NUC970_Buildroot use linux-3.10 kernel, while buildroot-2024 use linux-5.10.

Yes, your suggestion is very good. We will consider supporting Buildroot to create a pack image for NUC970.
For now, we are still using NuWriter to manually create the pack image.
