Mirror Type

Curious if the mirror strategy sets up pull mirrors or push mirrors, and if that is configurable.

It might also be worth mentioning this detail in the README.

I want to fully migrate operations to Forgejo while keeping GitHub synced for visibility, so I am looking for push mirrors (I push to Forgejo, Forgejo pushes to GitHub) if possible.

Ah yes that makes sense, I will look into it. Right now it is strictly pull mirrors though.
I will give you an update when I get around to it.

The short answer is you can't. The reason being pull mirrors are read only by default. So you have to manually go in and remove the pull mirror and convert to a push mirror instead.

@PatNei Do you think the /repos/{owner}/{repo}/push_mirrors POST API on Forgejo can be used to convert either pull mirrors or cloned repos into push mirrors?

I mean it probably wouldn't be a large addition. It would require that we first convert it to a normal repository if we used the mirror strategy and then we add the original repository as a push mirror with the same api key. I will think about a nice API for this and then give you an update when it is implemented :)
