Sorry I didn't get to answering you sooner.
COGITO was kind of hard to find, but eventually I found a video on youtube from PhazorKnight showcasing features.
It saves time in my development to use prebuilt systems instead of making so many things from scratch. Why reinvent the wheel?
I really want modular systems I can couple together. Cogito fits the bill and is being updated to decouple things even more. |

Have fun !
I searched on github for a godot template and Cogito was the most recent updated that already had many good things included 😅
I wish we have a bigger true game ready solid asset lib, since the unity incident it is growing fast and got this year its first (very cute) 3D Chars. 👍 Also we need basic things in a game engine that you would expect, so godot users/devs need a Template like Cogito that already solved at first common issues (e.g. gun clipping) and second brings features like interaction, health, stamina, etc, that you can hook into / expand further or build onto :> |

Discovered Cogito via YouTube recommendations a week ago while I was in initial stages of working on very similar systems. Decided to give it a try, and now I'm looking for ways to improve it while getting more familiar with the codebase.
One great thing about Cogito for people working on a game with similar systems, is that they can get started on their prototype immediately, and participate in the development of the core systems if they find areas of improvement, thus benefiting future projects as well. |

Hey everyone, I returned from Reboot Develop Blue 2024 yesterday. Had a great time chatting to developers and game dev people. Also had the chance to show COGITO to Emi from the Godot Foundation and chat a bit, so that was very nice as well. |

Hey everyone,
I'm going to be at the Reboot Develop Blue Conference in Dubrovnik end of April.
I'll be mostly presenting my in-development game, but will also show Cogito to anyone interested.
So I wanted to ask y'all:
How did you find Cogito? and what made you interested in using it/improving it?
I'd love to hear more about what people are looking for in the Godot Dev scene and/or how
Cogito helps people out.
This helps me present Cogito better to other devs.
On a related note: Next week till about May 1st, I won't be as active here / with the development of Cogito as I'll be travelling / on the conference. Answers to questions, feedback, PR reviews and so on will be delayed during this time. Sorry for the inconvenience!
