Qube Manager crash on resetting preloaded disposables #10285

@GWeck

Description

@GWeck

Qubes OS release

R4.3-rc2

Brief summary

When setting the number of preloaded disposables for some disposable template from a positive value to 0 via its settings in the Qube Manager, the Qube Manager terminates silently, without an error message.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Select the settings of a disposable template in the Qube Manager.
  2. Set the number of preloaded disposables for that template from a positive value to 0.
  3. Click 'OK'.

Expected behavior

The Qube Manager should keep running.

Actual behavior

The Qube Manager terminates without an error message.

Additional information

This may be connected to shutting down any dispVM running for that template, as it does not happen if the number of disposables is set to 1 and then immediately changed to 0. In this case, there is no time for the disposable to start completely, and the Qube Manager continues to run.

When setting the global value for the number of preloaded disposables to 0 and/or disabling this global property, it does not appear to affect the Qube Manager.
