Besides controlling whether bots are launched by core, the match setting auto_start_bots also controls whether we wait for connections before starting the match. We would like to separate this into two behaviors by introducing a new setting.

  • auto_start_bots controls whether bots are launched by core,
  • wait_for_agents controls whether we wait for all bots/scripts before starting the match.
