Description:

Messages sent from the mobile app with a newly captured camera image attachment are visible on the mobile client, but are not properly rendered on the desktop/web client.

The issue appears to occur specifically when using the in-app camera capture flow on the mobile application.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open the Rocket.Chat mobile app
  2. Take a photo using the in-app camera feature
  3. Add a text message/caption
  4. Send the message to a channel or direct message
  5. Open the same conversation from the desktop/web client

Expected behavior:

The message and image attachment should render correctly on both mobile and desktop/web clients.

Actual behavior:

  • The message renders correctly on the mobile client
  • The same message cannot be properly viewed from the desktop/web client
  • The issue appears reproducible consistently

Additional context

The issue seems related specifically to messages containing images captured directly from the mobile app camera flow.

Messages sent without camera-captured attachments do not appear to be affected.
