Describe the Problem

We have a similar requirement as described in #4476 but are using the odata clients.
The support was added in the openapi generator via #4883.

#4476 (comment) states to also add the support to the odata clients soon, but it seems as if this has not been realised so far.

We would highly appreciate the support for the odata clients too.

Propose a Solution

Support for esm as done for the openapi generator.

For the time being, I can use e.g. fix-esm-import-path to post-process the files after generation.

We've created a backlog item for it.
Unfortunately, it won't happen in the near future, I'm afraid.
