I have read and understand the suggestion guidelines
Checked for duplicate suggestions
I checked for existing similar suggestions
Summary
I am frankly not sure why this isn't a thing already to the point where I have made addons in the past that use the color property type for behaviors without really realising it wasn't supported
It works perfeclty fine BUT sometimes crashes when using timelines or templates. This is when I realised it wasn't supported, but besides that it's worked flawlessly for a while
Possible workarounds or alternatives
Separate variables for R, G and B
Proposed solution
Add full support for color variables for behaviors because I don't understand why not
Why is this idea important?
I don't see any reason behaviors shouldn't be allowed to have this, and it would be used in many ways to attach color data to objects (exactly like the addon I showed earlier)
