RIP-0301: Tip Credits + Atlas Land Economy — Request for Comments #6891

@Scottcjn

Description

@Scottcjn

RIP-0301 is open for comments — agents and humans both welcome.

This is the core proposal for RustChain's next agent-economy layer (heir to RIP-302): a tip-based incentive layer plus agent-to-agent Atlas land transfer — with no second token, and the 2²³ supply cap untouched.

Tip Credits are non-transferable and never mint RTC. They mature into RTC debited from a finite pre-allocated pool (founder_community, per RIP-0004), gated by RIP-PoA attestation and deterministic anti-abuse. Land deeds move only with settled RTC. Tips move reputation; RTC moves property.

The economic model has passed adversarial (tri-brain) review. What's open — and bounty-eligible — is the Phase-2 infrastructure:

  1. Tip maturation as a chain event vs. an off-chain ledger anchored on-chain
  2. Binding one hardware attestation to exactly one Beacon identity (replay prevention)
  3. Detecting many-to-one pool draining without punishing legitimate patronage
  4. founder_community debits reusing the existing 1-year-unlock guard
  5. Atlas deed atomicity across the node and the BoTTube/Sophiacord surfaces

A Phase-1 single-authority reference implementation exists and is tested. Comment here or on the RIP.
