What exactly is supposed to provide nordlayer-resolvconf and nordlayer-openvpn?

These seem to be missing during installation..

Okay, i extracted the package, seems these are under pkg/nordlayer/usr/libexec/nordlayer but it seems the build script is expecting them under /usr/bin ?

Tried taking the files in the extracted pkg and copying them to /usr/bin , this made the installation error go away. I still can't connect though.. may need a reboot..

The Debian build has moved those files elsewhere, but I was not able to match in on Arch Linux. The developer that I was in contact with could not provide info.

Though I can confirm that this version works as I was using it successfully.

Post any errors you get here.

I experienced the same issue as @akumaburn, and carried out the same steps of manually copying nordlayer-resolvconf and nordlayer-openvpn from pkg/nordlayer/usr/libexec/nordlayer to /usr/bin. I'm not particularly familiar with Arch packaging, but in this case, does the PKGBUILD file not need to be updated to refer to the changed file paths?

I do apologize for not looking into this as well as for not updating the readme with the information. I currently do not have a nordlayer account to be able to test any changes for the package.

I will appreciate and approve any PRs that you might raise if you can confirm that the changes resolve the issue.

You could also fork my repo and continue maintaining it and I will happily link your repository and close mine
