It would be nice if Coeus could detect the number of nodes and allocate the number to each run based on the availability. In this way it could surge when there is additional space.

However, there should be some practical limitations on this. Defaults if the nodes are less than some amount. A max number that is either hard coded or based on some measured parallelization efficiency that gets determined for each different run of Coeus by looking at the parallelization efficiency statistics in MCNP.
