(Tommy) sensitive locality data (for specimens). Symbiota uses link to IUCN Red List (IIRC).
(István) wants to export / show only specimen records (Yes, @debpaul realizes this is different. Noting, all these cases do involve creating data "subsets" of one sort or another, which is why I included this here).
FSCA (Oliver Keller) asking how to only put data out for the "subtribe" he has completed, but not the other 2 he's still working on.

At least one related issue is DMCA. Becoming apparent that media metadata are often not entered into the database.
need a way to find all images without metadata. Someone will need to add it. Perhaps we need to change the image metadata fields to have some be required. And suggest to all groups they implement DMCA on their Public Pages.

The TW / TP Policies for this?
Blanket DMCA section for Home / About TaxonPages?
maybe in our future "metadata" table, blanket DMCA person entered along with boiler plate text.
@LocoDelAssembly and @debpaul discussed with @JimWoolley how a script might help Roger with the PDF exposure challenge. (Ask Hernán and Debbie for details).
Probably it is a good idea for PDFs and images to be by default private, and then only public if having an asserted reason, such as: never published, public domain, etc. The presence of a field like this could provide some good properties for handling the items in a variety of ways if need be.
I'm fine with these settings being default private, but only if the toggle for this is at the project level. For example, all the INHS Insect Collection images should default be public, vs. Cucujoidea Species File, where images should be default private.
UCD and others are facing challenges with managing what they want on Public Pages (or don't want).
