i found a workaround for attiny core 2.0 beta to be installed on Arduino ide 2.x or higher ,is it ok ?

i managed to port attiny core from 1.5.2 to 2.0.0 beta in newer arduino ides ,the compiler seems to do every thing just fine but i am no arduino expert (i just know it's basic work mechanism ) so i want to know if there are any drawbacks of this procedure ?
(Please don't follow this unless spence konde or some other senior confirms it, i am not responsible if anything goes wrong )
(i am on arduino 2.1.1 with windows 10 pro 22h2 x64)

1. firstly ,I installed attiny core 1.5.2 from arduino board manager. Secondly , i navigated to this in file Explorer :
   C:\Users<Enter Your Username here >\AppData\Local\Arduino15\packages\ATTinyCore\hardware\avr
   there you will see a folder with "1.5.2" name , i deleted it then i made a new folder named "2.0.0-beta".
2. In this folder i just pasted the core 2.0 beta files while matching the structure of what was in "1.5.2" folder and the files which were missing in core 2.0 compared to 1.5.2 ,i just copied them from 1.5.2 and then pasted it in "2.0.0-beta folder"
3. when i opened the ide ,it showed up as 2.0.0-beta in board manager ,so when i compiled it ,it showed a FQBN error ,so it seems like a cache issue to me .then i went to File->Quit in the ide.
4. then i again opened file Explorer and navigated to this :
   C:\Users<Enter Your Username here >\AppData\Roaming\arduino-ide
5. i deleted everything inside this folder
6. when i opened the Arduino Ide ,at first it seemed to automatically downloading Arduino-Builtin 1.0.0 again but after completing it ,it seems everything was working just fine ,core 2.0.0-beta seems to be working
