Nvidia Parakeet Support

Nvidia just dropped a new ASR model (parakeet-tdt-0.6b-v2) that performs much better with lesser resources and faster inference.

Any chance go adding support for it, its possible it will be the new standard.

Ah ok, yeah when multi language support will be added is unknown.

if the English version support is added to OpenSuperWhisper, when the multi language version is released, wouldn't it work automatically?

@matrix303 @kuatroka I did a quick implementation to add support for Parakeet-TDT-0.6B-v2/v3 in my fork + support for downloading models from within the settings pane

havent tested much though

@Starmel Any change you can take a look at the fork and merge it into the main repo that way its easy to maintain with homebrew?

Cannot merge directly because the Parakeet Swift library has been updated. I’ve implemented the solution on top of the new library version.

Please build from this branch and provide feedback on the solution before merging.

Please check the quality of the Parakeet transcription. I’m not sure it works well for Russian, but it might perform better for English.
