Only Record Few Seconds of My Voice

It looks like the app isn’t recording my voice properly.
Only the first few seconds of my input are captured.

When I hit the play button, it only plays — “This way we could learn English” — and then the audio becomes silent. The player continues to run (the stop button is visible), but no sound is heard afterward.

Do you have another microphone to try? How does the sound recorded with the same microphone in the Apple Voice Memos app compare?

It works fine when using the same microphone (the built-in MacBook Pro microphone) in Apple Voice Memos.

However, when I connect my headphones (Sony WH-1000XM3, which also include a microphone), OpenSuperWhisper can’t capture my voice at all — while Apple Voice Memos still records normally.

I also just discovered that ChatGPT can’t capture my voice either — with or without the headphones connected.
