I've tried to download the Mac OS X 32/64-bit versions of Clippy.desktop but have not been able to decompress them with Finder. If I decompress using terminal's unzip command I get out an unzipped app but OSX won't read it.
It seems the zipped '.app's are damaged. Is something else going on here?
I have macOS Sierra 10.12.5

A similar issue happens on Linux (Ubuntu 17.10 in my case): Whenever I try to extract the files with a non-root user, the archive manager complains about missing permissions to write the files even if I have permissions to write into the directory.
