Open Source Onboarding Checklist

1. 👋 Say Hello

   • Introduce yourself on the project’s GIthub Discussions Board.

2. 📖 Read the Documentation

   • Review the README, CONTRIBUTING guidelines, the website and any available wiki to get up to speed. (There's not much at the moment, you can help change that, see below).

3. 👀 Explore Issues & Projects

   • Look for open issues tagged “good first issue,” “help wanted,” or “docs needed” to find a starting point.

4. 💡 Pick a Task

   • Choose a task that matches your interests or skills (or challenges you to learn).

5. 🤝 Ask Questions

   • Don’t be shy: discuss your approach or any blockers with maintainers and fellow contributors. We use github around these parts.

6. ✏️ Make Changes

   • Write code, documentation, or tests based on the project’s coding standards.

7. 🔀 Create a Pull Request

   • Submit your changes for review, providing a clear description of what was done.

8. Discuss on Github Discussions

   • Github discussions are asyncrounous, inclusive, and public.

9. 📢 Stay Involved

   • Follow discussions, help others, and keep improving the project.
   • Join us on Discord
