With all its impressive capabilities, I am not convinced that OpenMetadata is the right tool for us. As it is stated by the project, its main goal is to:

OpenMetadata is an open and unified metadata platform for data discovery, observability, and governance 

So in a nutshell, it supports use cases as an overall enterprise metadata. In my opinion, HF tooling is a much better match to our use case of managing individual un related data sets
