Custom characters t posing #5886
Comments
Then you havent imported correctly it seems |
It's imported absolutely fine, it's built on the character template that comes with ggmax. Its animations working with the animations system, attacks, walks, patrols ect, this has absolutely nothing to do with how it was imported.

The problem is an exported character will have the embedded animations from the rig (they have to be cleared). Do this procedure:

thanks for the response. |
Ensure you select the animation in the animation list for the one you wish to have as the default (usually 'idle'). Do not leave it on "All". Do this just prior to pressing Import. (This selected animation will be the default anim in the editor and game start, doing this will stop the T-posing) |
yah! DONE all this and they are still t-posing, like this guy is literally a ggmax character reimported but ive changed the texture, and it still t- poses, even when re-importing and only giving it the animations from the animations folder, just keeps resorting back to the t-pose every time I click off the character. so I'll place a character down, then click off, and BOOM t-poses. and futher more this method won't quite work for character attack enemies, that not all, but some also t-pose. like for unknown reasons the guys in the back ground aren't t-posing however they do keep shrinking!! after clicking on them: its very odd!! and just tried the NPC control script, still happening! ive finally got to a point where i can build custom characters but im just having all that work useless because of this :( |
just did a complete ggmax wipe, re-install and so far the custom characters are working again. we'll have to test through them to see for sure. |
built some custom characters. they keep randomly going to t-poses when I click off them, and in testing they remain in the pose.
