MangoWM Support

Hello, I was just wondering if MangoWM is supported. If not, are there any plans to support it in the future?

MangoWM is not currently supported. Monique works with compositors that expose IPC-based monitor management (Hyprland, Sway, Niri), which allows real-time profile application, hotplug handling, and live configuration.

From what I can see, MangoWM (based on dwl) does have IPC/scripting support, but I'm not sure how mature its monitor configuration capabilities are via IPC — specifically whether it supports dynamic output configuration (resolution, position, scale, transform, VRR) at runtime.

If MangoWM exposes these operations through its IPC, adding support would be feasible. Could you share:

1. How do you currently configure monitors in MangoWM? (config file, IPC commands, or both?)
2. Does MangoWM support runtime monitor reconfiguration via IPC? (e.g., changing resolution/position without restarting)
3. Are there docs or examples for the IPC protocol?

This would help me evaluate the effort needed. I'm open to adding support if the IPC is capable enough!

Thanks for the response @ToRvaLDz. While MangoWM does have IPC scripting, it's VERY limited, as of now. With that being said, it doesn't look like Mango support can be added as of right now.

I guess I was under the impression that Monique just writes configuration files. I will be tracking the maturation of MangoWM, and we'll see if it's worth revisiting in the future.
