Calculated units don't check statically

The issue you are referring to seems to be related to the typing in your code. Your giveMeter function only accepts length units, and that's why it fails when passed units of time, velocity and area. Try removing <'length'> from the type definition of the parameter - it will then accept all kinds of units.

Anyways I understand that the typing may not be intuitive to work with, since the multiplyWith and divideBy methods change the type of the object. I'll see if I can improve it in some way when I go back to work on this library again.

Good day. Thanks for expanded response. Your library realizes wonderful idea and brings value for Typescript.
About my issue: I want say that function giveMeter should accept only length, but it accept velocity and area without error.
I think yet as realize robust typization on Typescript for this problem.
