Feature Request : GNOME Extension Version

Hey! Would be great to have a GNOME extension version of Ripple.

Extensions work really well on Ubuntu and Ubuntu-based distros, and they handle both X11 and Wayland without any issues. Having Ripple as a GNOME extension would make it way easier to use for people on these systems.

Thought I'd share what I found:

Issue 1: GType Registration Error
The extension throws a critical error: "Tried to construct an object without a GType" when trying to initialize.

Suggested fix: Wrap the class with GObject.registerClass()

Issue 2: Missing GObject Import
The GObject module isn't imported, which is needed for the fix above and proper GObject integration

Side note: I really love this project! It actually inspired me to create my own version based on your work. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to maintain it properly, but I wanted to share these fixes in case they help. Thanks for building something so cool !!

Sorry it's been a very busy week and I hadn't had time to review the latest build. However, here it is! Please check the screenshots attached...
I tried disabling other extensions which may interfere but the results still looks same, the island somehow got embedded in the top bar !!
