Regarding the Trilium Reddit community

From what is saw in https://www.reddit.com/r/Trilium/comments/1fftzkc/lets_revive_this_sub/, the current maintainer is willing to hand over the sub.

Yes please do take over and Please do start a Telegram channel if possible.. I see you guys have a Matrix group but its illegal to use matrix based messenger in some areas so telegram channel discussion group and a update channel would be nice to have.

Thanks for clarifying! I actually don't mind the current logo, but I've noticed it doesn't always look great when used with material theme engines. When it's displayed in monochromatic form, it loses some of its appeal. Just thought I'd mention it in case that's something worth considering for future updates. No big deal either way - the functionality is what matters most to me :)

Regarding Telegram, I would suppose we can open one. My only worry is that we'll have too many places to communicate which will make it more difficult for people to be active in all of them.

I totally get what you're saying about too many communication platforms! Maybe we could just pick one main channel where you guys (the maintainers) officially respond - whatever works best for your team, be it Telegram, Matrix, GitHub or Reddit. The other channels can still be around for us users to chat and help each other out. Most of the time we can probably solve things among ourselves anyway! Maybe just add a note somewhere about the best way to reach the maintainer team when there's a serious issue that needs your attention. Just a thought! 😊

I totally agree but only few people only know trillium existed and only a very few know trillium next exist.. I found about this app while chatting with an AI for over an hour complaining about notion and looking for alternatives. I think its necessary to have a presence in non foss platforms to pull users make it like a portal at least to get more users.
