Installing latest 1.3.4 from vscode extension deletes compiler on OSX

I was clicking back and forwards in VScode and eventually saw the version selection combobox for AZ3166 is there! (board manager). However the moment I picked the latest 1.3.4 and clicked to install, tooling has deleted the `arm-none-eabi-g++` for good.
