Blender trials and tribs

I have hacked a blender exporter with the same intent as this (since many a 3d printed cnc machine comes only with STL). But I am finding I drop the json and tco files into /usr/share/doc/camotics/machines and naught turns up in the list. Thanks for this repo then as I assume I'll be able to work out my issue with model import (somehow) with what you've come up with.

AH, never mind. I forget to fix the machine references, so I can import bz2 versions from distro into blender, export same (with a config file for the fiddling of home etc). So you can drop stl files, meshes etc under collections (base, parts[x, y, z]) and export a bz2 and then run another script to create the json/tco files. I'm planning on packaging that and getting out to github once I clean things up.
