Using QDMA with OpenNIC driver

Is there any comprehensive instructions or examples on using QDMA with OpenNIC driver?

If not, how can we use the default QDMA engine available on OpenNIC shell with the OpenNIC driver, not the QDMA driver?
It seems the OpenNIC driver is quite different with official QDMA driver: for example, commands such as dma-ctl seems not to work without modification in OpenNIC driver.

I greatly appreciate any kind of assistance.
