i can't enter aiming mod help please

i tried every key on the keyboard but nothing work + is the aiming mod important for the mapped keys to work ? i make some keys and tried them on free fire and free fire max but the buttons simply dosen't work i think i need to enable aiming mod to make theme work + we need another tutorial video on youtube or something else because the app a little complicated and no one talking about it

• i have waydroid / android 13 / rooted with waydroid_script
• i have ubuntu 24.04
• PC HP laptop / i3-10th generation / 4Gb ram / waydroid runs smoothly

Make sure you are using cage-xtmapper which is needed for XtMapper to work with waydroid: https://xtr126.github.io/XtMapper-docs/waydroid/

Aiming mode is only needed to "lock" the mouse cursor to move the camera (and shoot meanwhile) in games.
For key presses, it's not needed.

here i closed waydroid because of some problems :

• first i followed the instructions like the video and other videos also
• when it start waydroid i notice a cursor on top of waydroid cursor
• xtmapper opened automatically and then i started free fire from xtmapper
• and when it opens i can do nothing literally nothing the mouse clicks doesn't work i still can move the cursor but nothing happen when i click
• also i can't interact with status bar or navigation buttons

i tried other keymappers and here my experience to help you

• k2er not working same problem
• octopus not even start
• that one work a little good but its too complicated its called "keymapper" : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.github.sds100.keymapper&hl=fr&pli=1
  it works because "keymapper" can performe a touche like a real finger touching the screen and it can capture input key event from my laptop keyboard you can try it and make somthing similar and the performance works better

here i closed waydroid because of some problems :

I noticed something, if you close waydroid with Alt+F4 and then run cage_xtmapper.sh, it freezes. Pressing ctrl+c while in the terminal window doesn't have this problem.

Can confirm this happens for me if I have "Show controls" enabled in Settings > Advanced

Turns out it is the problem.
By the way you seem to have touchpad input enabled, it has no effect in Waydroid.

You can't when cage-xtmapper is not running, but when it is running Ctrl and space should be able to be mapped.
