modal filter problems in early and later LTN tools Harborne East LTN #181

I have been using the earlier and the latest versions to design a LTN, but mostly the earlier version. Periodically impact data is not consistent through repeat runs. This is an example where there errors with 5 modal filters using the original downloaded LTN tool.

I have repeated the design with the latest web-based LTN tool. I then then checked Routing and am seeing similar bugs where route pass through filters.

Animate shortcuts shows an error with one filter on Fitzroy Avenue:

10f4c1t.animated.shortcuts.mp4

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have geoson files, but can't add here

Something indeed looks really wrong here. If you rename the .geojson file to .txt, GH issues will let you upload it. Or https://pastebin.com/ or similar could work. Could you please send the file for the new web tool, so we can reproduce easily?

Thanks for reporting! There are two problems here.

  1. The red route is "before your changes", the blue is "after". The red route shown is correct, but this is very confusing, because we don't show a blue route for "after" and nothing in the UI says "we failed to find a route after your changes".

  2. When a route starts or ends on a road that has a filter, the routing gives up, but it could try going the other way

To visualize the 2nd problem better, when I move the A marker so that it snaps to that little deadend road, then things work as expected
