Capturing audio even when muted feature request

Can the app capture audio when speakers are muted, like google chrome does, many thanks.

I believe this should already work if you use PipeWire, are you using PulseAudio?

Using pipewire in fedora 38
I just tested, it works if I mute global volume not the video volume
Is there a way to make it work if I muted video volume? thanks

When you mute a video in Firefox, it skips even creating an audio output for it. Chromium seems to keep the output but keeps it silent. Other than creating a browser extension that extracts the audio directly, there's no way for the app to get the audio of a muted video
