So I looked into getting it running on WSL, and it does work for WSL2! With how the PulseAudio <-> RDP works for WSLg, you do need to have it caption microphone (input) audio: Use Stereo Mix or a virtual audio device on the Windows host as the input.

It's a pretty good app, mostly accurate. I agree though, a native Windows version would be nice.
